Assignment:  Download the presentation.  Read it.  Do the exercises.  On Friday, I will post the answers to the exercises here on the blog.  Check your answers.

 Main Idea and Supporting Details-ag

Assignment:  First, read your peer reviewer’s answers.  If you need to add a topic sentence with the main idea, supporting details, or concluding sentence, try to do it.  Second, go to the writing center in Admissions 5 with your draft and your peer review.  Show the tutor this assignment paper.  Ask the tutor to help you develop your paragraph (explain your ideas more).  Ask the tutor to check that every sentence has a subject and verb.  Ask the tutor to sign your draft.  Finally, rewrite your paragraph using your tutor’s suggestions.  Staple your new paragraph to your signed draft and peer review.  Turn in everything in class on Wednesday, September 9.  This assignment is worth 20 points.
